New Inspiration
After some years during which I was busy dealing with stuff I will not tire my readers with, I have finally found time and resources to invest in the research concerning kurhessian Orders, decorations and medals, emphasizing on the militairy service orders:
- Ordre pour la virtue militaire (from 1821: Militärverdienstorden)
- Orden vom eisernen Helm

Project in the fridge
Unfortunately, basically due to work and other career issues, I will have to stall this project. It has been relatively low on activity the past well, 6 months and basically I don’t want to get your hopes up. As stated before, the archives in Hessen have doubled their prices for scanning, so untill my salary is doubled as well…..
Anyway it has been great working on this and who knows what the future holds…

So….its been a while. Basically because apart from getting a new job as a civil servant (finally) nothing much happened. At least not concerning the contents of this blog.BUTTT I am expecting something new and exciting this week (I hope, well I know I should be getting it this week but am not sure about the level of excitement it will bring) There will be more soon.
